Will we ever get there.

Our mission call came the middle of November in 2008.  It is now February 28, 2009.  We were to enter the MTC on 19 January 2009 to prepare to go to Suva, Fiji.  Our mission President heard that we were coming and contacted us to inform us that we would be serving in New Caledonia which is a French territory.  That meant new Visa applications and thus the wait.  We flew to San Francisco on 18 December for a twenty minute visit in the French Consulate there.  We are playing the waiting game.   Our current plans are to travel to Utah on 1 April to visit with our son and his family and attend a session of General Conference the day before we enter the MTC on Monday, 6 April, one day before Carl's 62nd birthday.  Keep your fingers crossed and your prayers going that we will be able to get this mission started as planned.
